In times of poverty, lack, sickness, disease, sorrow, loneliness, death, betrayal, rejection - I know Him as FAITHFUL - PROVIDER - HEALER - FRIEND - COMFORTER - RESTORER - and so much more!
Although I was raised in church, the doctrine was lacking the true power of God. The full gospel of Jesus Christ was not taught. I knew nothing about the power of the Blood of Jesus, the cross, true salvation, forgiveness, cleansing of my sins that gave me free entrance into Heaven & I was missing out on so much.
Now, that same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives inside of me!
We have a heart for those who Jesus loves. Who need help finding Him, having a personal relationship to really know Him, as well as those needing to find their way back from making a wrong turn. Many are lost, confused, hurt, sick & need to learn how to stand, believe & receive the full benefits of His mercy & grace. We desire to lead & teach others how to live a life worth living - how to receive peace & satisfaction in a world of chaos & confusion.
Jesus died to give all who would receive Him peace in this life & their eternal life.
Our first call was to the less fortunate who had shelter, but very little else. Not long after, the Lord gave instruction with step by step directions to feed & minister to homeless individuals. The Lord immediately began to use us to not only pray for & take care of their physical needs, but He used us for Him to work miracles in hearts, minds, bodies & souls. He healed a man who was lame & could hardly walk. After we prayed for him, he began moving his legs, then threw down his cane, walked around a bit, & suddenly ran across the street & down the sidewalk rejoicing!
Another time a woman diagnosed with HIV was completely restored. While praying for her, I heard the Holy Spirit say; "tell her it's done". I did, she quietly got up & walked away. Several weeks later she came back to testify that her doctor said her tests showed there wasn't a trace of HIV in her body! She became new, healed, restored & her life changed. No longer living on the streets, taking drugs, having intimate relations with men for favors became a woman radiant with joy living a life for Jesus. She found true freedom in Christ.
It has been a journey of one faith step in front of the other for over 20 years - from glory to glory to glory!
