To be a true follower of Christ, we must be putting feet to our faith by our actions, not just our words - James 1:22 admonished us to be 'doers of the Word & not hearers only' - Like on the job training, we'll get together to do an outreach to help another ministry, individual family, etc. But first, we prepare. We don't want to be like the seven son's of Sceva who were overpowered, wounded, & stripped naked by the evil spirit they came to cast out of the man. (see Acts 19)
As Believer's in Jesus, we are to imitate Christ - being His disciple - doing what He did because His power is alive & works through us. He is our example & told us the works that He did on earth, we would do & even greater!
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. John 14:12 NASB1995
Come be filled with the Word, Holy Spirit & power, trained in prayer, ready to minister to those in need, healing the sick, casting out demons, setting people free at work, at school, in the marketplace.
Children are powerhouses of faith! My son used his faith & prayed for kids on the playground when they got hurt - he expected healing! So, we do not exclude children - we train children to be victorious! God is no respecter of persons. (Acts 10:34)
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words}, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Matthew 28:19AMP
